Erath " Funeral Services will be held for Iwest J. Bouillion, 88, on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 10:00AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel of Erath with Fr. Bill Melancon officiating, visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 beginning at 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 8:00AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery of New Iberia. A native and resident of Erath Mr Bouillion died at 3:16PM on Monday November 21, 2011 at the Eastridge Assisted Living in Abbeville. Mr. Bouillion graduated from Erath High School in 1940, and served in the US Marine Corps. During WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 0279 of Erath. Mr. Bouillion enjoyed reading, walking, watching television, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by five nieces Velta Menard Campbell, Eula Ann Bouillion LeBlanc, Della LeBlanc Lopez, Eldred Leblanc Landry, and Lea Anna LeBlanc Richard; five nephews Hadwing LeBlanc, Rayfay Trahan, Oland Bouillion, Javis Bouillion, and Bradley Trahan. Mr. Bouillion was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Vincent Bouillion; his parents Julian and Felicia LeBlanc Bouillion; one brother Edie Bouillion; three sisters Edia Bouillion Suire, Ester Bouillion Trahan, and Edith Bouillion LeBlanc; two nieces Maydrene Suire Derouen, and Lou Vella Bouillion Gaspard; five nephews Ludwest Bouillion, Aldon Bouillion, Dallas LeBlanc, Hargest LeBlanc, and Stafford LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Lance LeBlanc, Craig Richard, Keith Lopez, Brady Lopez, Javis Bouillion, and Barry Landry. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Natalie LeBlanc, Darlene LeBlanc, and Mikel LeBlanc for all of their help and support. David Funeral home of Erath at 209 E.
