Aristile Romero

December 26, 1929 — April 3, 2012

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Aristile Romero, Age 82, at 1:00PM Thursday April 5, 2012 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Patrick Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday April 4, 2012 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM and Thursday April 5, 2012 from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Youngsville and resident of Erath, Mr. Romero died Tuesday April 3, 2012 at 10:13AM at Dauterive Hospital. Aristile enjoyed life and was a great cook, loved wood working, playing cards and loved to go out dancing. He will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include his children; Brent Romero of Houston, Texas, Loren Romero, Robert Solar and wife Michelle and Patty T. Fletcher all of New Iberia; one brother, Roosevelt Romero of New Iberia; his companion of 18 years, Maude Sellers; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Jean Prejean Romero; one son, Kent Romero; parents, Rene and Zaide Viator Romero; brothers, Robley, Lucien, Louis, LeRoy and Fernest Romero and two sisters, Shirley Romero Louviere and Mary Romero Suire. Pallbearers will be T.J. and Travis Trosclair, Robert and Robbie Solar, Brent Romero and T-Boy Suire. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La. (337)369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
