Youngsville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Eldridge J. Mouton, Sr., 82, will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 12:00PM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with his son, Rev. Jason Mouton as Celebrant . Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette beginning at 9:00AM Tuesday, December 6, 2011 until just prior to services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:15AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow services in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. A native and lifelong resident of Youngsville, Mr. Mouton passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Mr. Mouton was employed as a Custodian with the Lafayette Parish School System prior to his retirement. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dolores Chaisson Mouton of Youngsville; sons, Joseph Wilton Mouton and his wife, Earline of Lafayette, LA, Bryne Al Mouton also of Lafayette, LA, Rev. Jason Mouton, Pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church of Youngsville, LA, Gary Mouton and his wife Cathy of Lafayette, LA; daughter, Anchell M. Chevalier and her husband, Kevin of Youngsville, LA; sister, Doris Lewis also of Youngsville, LA; nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelien Mouton and Edna Trahan Mouton; son, Eldridge J. Mouton, Jr. and one sister, Eda Mae Mouton Hamilton. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Lance Mouton, Gary Mouton, Jr., Aaron Mouton, Tristin Chevalier, Garrett Dauphin and Francis Guidry.
