New Iberia- Funeral Services for Mr. Allen T-Neg Trahan Jr. will be held on Saturday December 3, 2011 at 5:00PM at David Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday December 2, 2011 at 5:00PM until 9:00PM and will reopen the following day at 9:00AM until service time.
A native of Houma and resident of Cypremort Point, T-Neg as he was affectionately known, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 4:26AM at a Houma Medical Center. He was 57. Mr. Trahan along with his wife Pam owned and operated the shrimping vessel Captian T-Neg . During the winter months he worked as a carpenter building numerous houses and camps. In his spare time T-Neg enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife and especially loved the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pam Schouest Trahan of Cypremort Point; Daughter, Angie Pellegrin and husband Jason of New Iberia; Mother, Eula Mae Ledet Ryals of Houma; Brother Darryl Trahan and wife Connie of Houma; two sisters, Carolyn Lirette Trahan of Chavin, and Darlene Hayes and husband Rodney of Biloxi, MS.; two half-sisters, Robin Parfait and husband Abraham of Houma, and Amanda Lecompte and husband John of Houma; half-brother, Malcolm Ryals ofHouma; step-father, Cecil Ryals of Houma; step-mother, Dorothy Bourg Trahan of Houma; two step-brothers, Danny Ledet and wife Clarise of New Iberia, and Lynn Ledet and wife Ella of Houma; four grandchildren, Kristen Pellegrin, Ryan Pellegrin, Morgan Pellegrin, and Madison Pellegrin; he is also survived by all his in-laws he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father Allen Trahan Sr.; and one half-brother, Chris Trahan.
