Louise Gonzales Broussard

DING DONG!!! Jesus just called another AVON lady home.

New Iberia- Mrs. Louise G. Broussard, 82, of New Iberia died on Friday November 9 ^th , 2012 at her daughters residence with Avons Timeless sachet lingering on her bed sheets. Mrs. Broussard was a Presidents Club and Honor Society Avon Representative for over 35 years, having won numerous awards throughout this time. She sold bottled fragrances to her beloved customers and grew fragrant flowers in her garden, a favorite place of hers.

Mrs. Broussard, being a great cook, was always trying to fatten-up her thin husband, Robert Bruce Broussard, who greeted her at Heavens gate along with her parents, Joseph Gonzales and Louise Landry Gonzales; her sisters, Ann, Georgette, and Yola; her brothers, Tony and Gene Joe Gonzales.

She will be remembered and missed by her children; Robert Broussard Jr. and wife Norma, Michael Wayne Broussard and wife Letrice, Edward Gene Broussard, Debra B. White and husband James, and Mary B. Durkes and husband Rickie, all of New Iberia. Her two surviving sisters, Therese Felps, and Elise Williams, also of New Iberia will remember her fondly along with 11 grandchildren, Craig and Corey Broussard; Micah, Molly, Sarah, Ruth, and Simon Broussard; Chad E. and Kayla Broussard; and Derek and Donovan Durkes; 13 great grandchildren, Beaux Broussard; Gabriel, Sophia, Julius, Sienna, and Nadia Broussard; Peyton Pommier, Oliver Romero, Tyler and Shontell Broussard; Candice, Carlos and Kiara Harris; and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will beheldat Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church onTuesdayNovember 13, 2012beginning at9:30am withr ecitation of the Rosary at 10:15am, followed by amemorial mass at 11:00amto fondly say good-bye.

The family sincerely request that donations are made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St. Suite 200, Lafayette, La. 70503-3240. They were the sweet flowers in our moms life until she was gently called home. We will see her again in paradise .
