New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Damon Christopher Bonin, Age 38, at 11:00AM Saturday April 28, 2012 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Bullock officiating. Visitation will be Saturday April 28, 2012 from 8:00AM until service time. A Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 10:00AM. A native of New Iberia and resident of New Orleans, Damon died Sunday at his residence in New Orleans. Damon was a production assistant in the movie industry. He enjoyed fishing, traveling to Florida Keys and spending time with his friends in New Orleans. Survivors include his father, Bill Bonin and wife Jan of New Iberia; mother, Diana Guillory Bonin of Kenner; one brother, Bryan Bonin of Katy, Texas; three sisters, Melanie Tucker and Angela Bonin both of New Iberia and Michelle Livermore of Huntsville, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laudice Bill and Daisy Bonin; maternal grandparents, Horace and Ivy Smith and Oscar Guillory and a nephew Brae Schaubert.
