Loreauville " Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Clevens "Kive" Joseph Albert, 80, on Monday November 5, 2012 at 3:30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ed Degyter officiating. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum Visitation will be on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM and resume on Monday November 5, 2012 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:30 PM. A native of Parks and a long time resident of Loreauville, Mr. Albert died on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:52 AM in a New Iberia Hospital. He retired after 61 years in the oil field. He loved working in his garden, outdoor cooking, hunting, and fishing. He could be found with his little black book of jokes entertaining friends. He loved to spend time with family and friends. He was a member of the National Guard for 9 years. He is survived by his children, Alton NuNu Albert and his wife June of Morgan City, Melanie Poulette Evans and husband Jimmy of Loreauville, Ricky Ricko Albert and wife Anne of Loreauville, Jody Dupont and husband Eric of Breaux Bridge, and Monique Ca-Ca Broussard and husband Jeff of Loreauville; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his brothers, Carroll Albert and wife Carolyn of New Iberia, Charlie Albert and wife Beverly of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Dorita Tot Mouton and husband Dolph of Parks, Nelda Gomer of Parks, Della Albert of Breaux Bridge. He left behind many friends and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Louviere Albert; his parents, Burton Albert and Edmae Cormier; his son-in-law, Ricky Faucheaux ; his brothers, Harry Boy Albert and Douglas Albert; and his sister, Doris Dot Rodriquez. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. David Rinaldi and staff, Dr. Paul Gulotta, Dr. Jason Morvant , Dr. Robert Hankenof III, LA- Oncology and staff, Iberia Medical Center 2nd floor and staff, and AAA Home Health. Pallbearers will be Ricky, Shawn, Kaleb, and Shane Albert, Blair and Brandon Faucheaux , and Kylin Broussard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ridge Albert, Kagon Broussard, and Terrell Louviere. Gift bearers will be Bevon Framel, Kenzie Dupont, and Taylor Dupont. Paw will be missed by friends of all ages. Every conversation was opened with Hey, I know you . That stranger then became his friend and he ended each conversation with Im glad you got to see me, T-Boy.
