Albert "Butch" Bonin

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.

A native of St. Martinville and a resident of Loreauville, Mr. Bonin died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 6:25 PM at his residence. He was a retired Welder. He also loved woodworking. He was a Jack-of-all-trades and was very good at doing things. When he did things, he gave it his very best. He also enjoyed helping out people every chance he could.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Dolores Dee Pelous Bonin of Loreauville; his daughter, Sophie Bonin Reese and her husband Eric of Loreauville; his sons, Jared Bonin of Loreauville and Jason Bonin and his wife Lorraine of Sunset; his grandchildren, Cody Theriot, Chase Bonin both of New Iberia and Jackie Bonin of Loreauville; his sisters, Jean Romero and her husband J. C. and Lorraine Romero all of New Iberia and his brother, Aymar Pip Bonin, Jr. of Arnaudville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aymar Beb Bonin and Arsene Albert Bonin; his sister, Gertie Dugas; his brothers, Wilton Toon Bonin, Moise Bonin, Alton Tit Bonin, Desire Bonin, Oswald Bonin, Homer Bonin and Alvin Bonin.

Pallbearers will be Jared Bonin, Jason Bonin, Cody Theriot, Chase Bonin, Charlie Romero and Jimmy Mire.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Reese, Aymar Pip Bonin, Jr., Jeffery Bonin, nephews and brother-in-laws.
