Broussard " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lawrence Brewer the former Leonor Suarez, 86, will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Ruskoski officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, September 3, 2012 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A native of San Juan, TX and a resident of Broussard Mrs. Brewer died at 11:20PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at a Lafayette Hospital. She was known as a devoted catholic, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Brewer of Breaux Bridge and Kathy Brewer of Broussard; a sister, Domitila Suarez; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Brewer; her parents, Leopoldo and Amada Rodriguez Suarez; a brother, Roberto Suarez; and a sister, Maria Vega. Serving as pallbearers will be Horacio Flores, Jr., Rene Flores, Zack Blood, Jorge Flores, Horacio Flores, Sr., and Homero Flores. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
