Lafayette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lucille LeBlanc Champagne, 85, will be held at 11:00AM Monday, July 2, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, LA with Rev. Jason Mouton as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 8:00AM until just prior to service time. Entombment will follow services at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Champagne passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Camelot Place in Crowley, LA where she was a resident. Born in Broussard, LA she was a longtime resident of Youngsville prior to moving to Crowley. She is survived by her goddaughter, Roylynn Santiny Adam and her husband, Jeff of Lafitte, LA and she is also survived by Jeff Adam, Jr. and Lindsey Adam both of Lafitte, LA whom she was affectionately known as Old Nanny . She was preceded in death by her first husband, Austin Gerard; second husband, Percy Champagne; parents, Hazard LeBlanc and Solange Girouard LeBlanc and one brother, Otis LeBlanc.
