Lafayette " Funeral Services for Mr. Wesley J David, 76, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 4:30PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery. A native of Youngsville and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. David passed away at 9:00PM on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his residence. Mr. David was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his three sons, Daniel David and his wife Velvet of Bosco, John David and his wife Kathy of Lafayette, and Gary David and his wife Racquel of Youngsville; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; sister, Lucille D. Trahan of Lafayette; and his special friend and companion, Melba Frederick of Abbeville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aymar and Zulmae Mailhes David. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel David, John David, Gary David, Scott Romero, Gregory Frederick and Mike Groetch. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Charles Hebert, Warren Hebert, Roland Hebert, and Steve Granger.
