Lydia " A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. James A. Derise the former Pauline Tabb, Age 57, at 11:00AM Friday December 9, 2011 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Msgr. Jace Eskind officiating. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Mausoleum in Patoutville. Visitation will be Thursday December 8, 2011 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of New Iberia and longtime resident of Lydia, Pauline died Tuesday December 6, 2011 at 11:50PM in a local health care facility. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband James A. Derise, two sons, Brady Derise and wife Jamie and Chase Derise and fiance Courtney Frederick, grandchildren, Max and Gabrielle Derise, her mother, Judith Darcey Tabb, a brother Jason Tabb and her mother in law, Judy Derise, all of Lydia. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Tabb, two sisters, Cathy Addie and Joy Lynn Tabb, a brother, Randall Frog Tabb and her father in law, Roy Derise. Pallbearers will be Brady, Chase and Max Derise, Patrick Migues, Jeremy Tookie Lasseigne and Reggie Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabrielle, Dwayne, Rocky and Ross Derise and Laney Slick Guidroz. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La. (337)369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
