Donna Milligan Villemarette

Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial for Ms. Donna Milligan Villemarette, 67, will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Broussard, with Fr. Edward Duhon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:30PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, December 12, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum. A native of Bunkie and a resident of Lafayette, Ms. Villemarette passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at a local hospital. She was a volunteer religion teacher at Teurlings Catholic; was active in community service; was salesperson selling furniture; and was employed with ARDD assisting entrepreneurs. She is survived by her son, Chris K. Villemarette and his wife Delia of Cypress, TX; four grandchildren, Avery Villemarette, Peyton Villemarette , Cullen Villemarette, and Joshua Bernard; a sister, Rosie Mae Guillory of Marksville; a nephew, Todd Mayeaux and his wife Renae; and a niece, Charlene Goudeau Ricco. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Amy Rachal Milligan; a daughter, Michelle V. Bernard; and a sister, Gail Marie Lutz. Serving as pallbearers will be members of her friends and family. David Funeral Home of Lafayette 316 Youngsville Highway, (337) 837 " 9887, is in charge of arrangements.
