Noemie Comeaux Verret Louviere

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Noemie Comeaux Verret MeMe Louviere, 91, on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Jude Thierry and Deacon Chris Doumit officiating. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 9:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:30 PM.

A native of Port Arthur, TX and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Louviere passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 12:30 PM in a local nursing home. She worked for Trappeys Fine Foods, was a cafeteria worker for the Iberia Parish School Board, a Pink Lady at Dauterive Hospital and a Hostess at David Funeral Home for many years.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Louviere Peltier and her husband Henry, Patsy Louviere Babineaux and her husband Elverse, Lloyd Verret, Jr. and his wife Johnnie all of New Iberia, Gerald Verret and his wife Elda of Lafayette, Donna Bonin Landry and her husband Ronnie of New Iberia and Russell Bonin, Jr. of New Orleans; her brothers, Ceasar Comeaux and James Comeaux both of New Iberia; her daughter-in-laws, Mary Ann Louviere of New Iberia and Loretta Verret of St. Martinville; her grandchildren, Penny Peltier and her husband Phil, Trudy Touchet and her husband Richard, Brian Peltier and his wife Bridget, Elverse Bozie Babineaux and his wife Charmaine, Tammy Doumit and her husband Phil, Chad Babineaux and his wife Robbie, Shane Babineaux and his wife Heather, Donna Faye Buteau, Lloyd Pat Verret and his wife Cherie, Craig Verret and his wife Dayna, Jason Verret and his wife Samantha, Michelle Stoutes and her husband Mark, Lisa Kleyla and her husband John, Jennifer Barras and her husband Blake, R. J. Landry and his wife Brandie, Trey Landry and his wife Brandi and Amber Thibodeaux and her husband Joel, 34 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her 1 ^st husband, Oliver Louviere; her second husband Lloyd Verret, Sr.; her parents, Semar and Elia Gary Comeaux; her son, Edward Louviere; her siblings, Gussie Comeaux Labiche, Mildred Comeaux Norris, Homer Comeaux, Preston Comeaux, Rita Comeaux Bernis, Verna Comeaux Boudreaux, Robert Comeaux, Carol Magoo Comeaux and Mable Comeaux and 2 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Elverse Babineaux, Jr., Pat Verret, Brian Peltier, Chad Babineaux, Craig Verret, R. J. Landry, John Kleyla, Jason Verret and Shane Babineaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ceasar Comeaux , James Comeaux and Trey Landry.
