Jeanerette - Memorial services are pending for Anthony Francis, age 59, who diedSunday December 25, 2011 at 2:20 PM at his residence in Jeanerette.

Anthony was a member of The Magnificent Mens Social Club and served in the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Diana Fruge Francis of Jeanerette, sons: Eric Hawk of Houston, Texas, Nicholas Francis and his wife Keisha of Jeanerette, Carlos Francis and his wife Jamie of Jeanerette, Dexter Lyons of Jeanerette, daughters: Alexis Trudsell of Fort Worth, Texas, Shayla Johnson of Jeanerette, Brothers: Leonard Francis, Sr. and his wife Beverly of Beaumont, Texas, Arthur Francis, Jr. and his wife Terryln of Jeanerette, Ivory Lee Francis and his wife Mercedes of Jeanerette, Nathaniel Francis of Jeanerette and his companion Sonja , sisters: Catherine Lindsey and her husband James of Dequincy, Thelma Mae Young and her husband Donald of Atlanta, Ga., 10 Grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews, and a number of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Sam A. and Thelma Alexander Francis, sisters: Ethelrine F. Lockette and Earnestine F. Marks.
