Virgil Hebert, Sr.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 2, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed in the funeral home at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 8:00 AM until services.

A native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath, Mr. Hebert died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 7:08 PM upon arrival at an Abbeville hospital. He was a plant operator for the Town of Erath for 26 years.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Bourque Hebert; his sons, Virgil Hebert, Jr and his wife Katie, Kirk Hebert and his wife Christine; his daughter, Kim Hebert; his brother, Louis Hebert; his grandchildren, Scott, Aimee, Kayleigh and Catherine Hebert; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa and Caleb Hebert all or Erath.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Evelyn Richard Hebert; his brother, Ernest Hebert and his sister, Barbara Nell Suire.

Pallbearers will be Virgil Hebert, Jr., Kirk Hebert, Scott Hebert, Chad Hebert, Louis Hebert, Boyd Oliva and Caleb Hebert.
