New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Eugene Gene Francis Denlinger, Age 57, at 11:00AM Saturday September 1, 2012 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Bullock officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday August 31, 2012 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and Saturday from 8:00AM until service time. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Denlinger died Wednesday August 29, 2012 at 9:10PM in St. Mary Parish. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in New Iberia. Survivors include his wife, Keri Tutt Denlinger of New Iberia; daughters, Christina D. Edley and husband Jamie and Stacey Denlinger and fianc Aaron Baudin all of New Iberia; his mother, Helene Judice Frederick of New Iberia; grandchildren, Cohen John Edley, David Joshua Louviere and Ashlyn Elise Baudin; two brothers, Ricky Denlinger and wife Linda of New Iberia and Donnie Denlinger and wife Elaine of Lafayette; one sister, Rochelle Bernard and husband Godfrey of New Iberia; a half brother, Walter Layne Broussard and wife Josie of Baton Rouge and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Dick H. Denlinger. Pallbearers will be Chad and Clint Judice, Rick Denlinger, Wynn Derouen, Brandon OBrien and Minge Dixey. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Denlinger Sr., Donnie Denlinger, Jamie Edley, Aaron Baudin, Godfrey Bernard, Layne Broussard, Kyng Tutt, Greg Denlinger and Jackie Judice.
