Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Willie Mae Robinson Zenon, 80, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 818 12th Street in Lafayette, LA. Fr. Thomas James, SVD, will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville, LA on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM.

Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Omaha, NE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Philip Neri Church located at 8200 North 30th Street in Omaha, NE 68112.

A native of Abbeville, LA., Mrs. Zenon passed away on December 30, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center. During her life, she was a devoted wife, mother, and an active member of the Catholic Church. She was a 1951 graduate of the Holy Rosary Institute, and was married to architect Golden J. Zenon, Jr. for 54 years. Mrs. Zenon was a resident of Omaha, NE for 52 years.

Mrs. Zenon is survived by her fours sons and a daughter; Dr. Golden Joseph Zenon, III and his wife Betty, Gerald Mark Zenon and his wife Frances, Dr. Terry Winthrop Zenon and his wife Natalia, Corey Paul Zenon and his wife Kimberly and Wendy Ann Zenon-Mason. She is also survived by her sister Juanita Robinson Harang. She is survived by grandchildren Ashley Marie Zenon, Aaron Joseph Zenon, Sylvonna Rene McKoy, Sterling Jerome McKoy, Terry Winthrop Zenon, II, Syndey Renee Zenon, Brittany Ann Mason, Simone Marie Mason, Capri Nicole Mason, Nia Ann Station, Bradley Reck, Alexandria Stephens, Heather Wilturner Zenon, and Golden Joseph Zenon, IV. Mrs. Zenon is also survived by a large extended family including several sister-in-laws, Rose Robinson Bucksell (Aunt), Raymond Zenon (brother-in-law), and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Golden Joseph Zenon, Jr., her parents Fisher J. Robinson, Sr. and Winnie Smith Robinson, and her brother Fr. Fisher J. Robinson, Jr., SVD.
