Lynn A. Landry

Visitation will be on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 PM.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Landry passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 2:12 PM in Charenton. He was a contract welder. To his friends he was known as Nomie . He was always there to help anyone. He made a lot of things but the best thing he made was friends. He loved hunting, fishing, trawling, riding his Harley, spending time at his camp with family and friends and especially loved his pool parties. He also loved his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Pontiff Landry of Jeanerette; his father, Ulysse E. Nomie Landry of Jeanerette; his sisters, Patricia Boudreaux of Nashville, TN and Sherry Hicks and her husband Edward of Jacksonville, FL; his brothers, John Landry and his wife Bonnie of Lafayette and Ray Landry and his special friend Rhoda of Jeanerette and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Renella Kern Landry.

Pallbearers will be Casey Moresi, Tyler Pontiff, Jody Pontiff, Marty Pontiff, Ray Landry and John Landry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Hicks, Roy Pontiff, Brandon Pontiff, Johnny B. Lancon, Jim Estilette, Tommy Hebert and Gene Broussard.
