A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Reynaud died on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 9:55 PM at his residence in New Iberia. He was retired from Southern Pacific Railroad as Yard Master in New Iberia with 42 years of service. He was also a member of the Cattlemans Association and the V.F.W. Post # 1982. He serves his country in the U.S.Navy during WWII.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years 11 Months Lucille Broussard Reynaud of New Iberia: his sons, Francis A. Sonny Reynaud, Jr. and his companion Vickie of Portland, Oregon, Bruce Reynaud of New Iberia, daughters, Trudi R. Perret and herhusband Emile J.II of New Iberia, Sandra R. Egelston and her husband Mike, Sr. of Jennings, brother: Jesse E. Reynaud, Sr. of Morgan City: Sister Iris R. Miller and her husband Max of Patterson: grandchildren, Tina Reynaud, Johnny Reynaud, Lee Reynaud, Michael Egelston, Jr., Alecia B. Reynaud, Jennifer C. Reynaud, Emile J. Perret III, Lane R. Perret, Kaci E. Perret, great grandchildren: Kylie Egelston, Amanda Egelston,Hanna Egelston, Mychelle Egelston,Megan Albert, Chelsea Busby, Ashley Busby, John Reynaud, Josh Reynaud, Aysha Reynaud, Catcher Reynaud, Townson Reynaud.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse E. and Antoinette Bouy Reynaud, Sr.,sisters, Ruth R. Delaune, Joyce R. Smith, brothers, Vernon Reynaud, Kenward Reynaud, Elton Pickle Reynaud, granddaughter, Shannon Egelston.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Reynaud, Emile Perret III, Michael Egelston, Jr., Lee Reynaud, George Reeves, Jr., Jesse Reynaud, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wiltz Vice and Henry Dauterive.
