Evelyn Marie Dore Gauthier

A native of Broussard, LA , Mrs. Gauthier passed away on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at her residence in DeRidder, LA.

Mrs. Gauthier was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. Not only being known as the best cook in the world , Evelyn enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, teaching them unconditional love and sharing family stories that will remain in their hearts and memories forever. Evelyn was the matriarch of her family and will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten.

She is survived by her two sons, Harold Gauthier, Jr. M.D. of Philadelphia, PA, Robert Bob Gauthier, Sr. and his wife, Jenny of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Lillian Hickman and her husband Todd of Lumberton, TX, Patricia Hare and her husband Grant of Beaumont, TX, Robert Bobby Gauthier, Jr. and his wife Tanya of Erath, LA, Mary Katie Gauthier, Michelle Gauthier, John Gauthier and Melissa Missy Gauthier all of DeRidder, LA and seven great-grandchildren, Zack and Lilly Hickman both of Lumberton, TX, Gavin , Adam and Justin Hare all of Beaumont, TX and Ethan and Emma Gauthier both of Erath, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Joseph Gauthier,Sr.; son, Russell Gauthier; parents, Charles and Leonore Segura Dore as well as two brothers, Curley Dore and Raoul Dore.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
