Erath - Memorial services will be held at a later date for Nell Jean Comeaux Reed, 72, who died at 4:00PM, on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, La. Nell Jean Comeaux Reed was a native of Bell City, La. and a resident of Erath. She was a member of The Catholic Daughters, Erath Fourth of July Association, and Ultreya. She is survived by her husband, Leon J, Reed, Sr. of Erath, La.; one son, Leon J. Reed, Jr. and his wife Linda of Minden, La.; two daughters, Thelma Lynn Reed Wilkerson and her husband Gregory of Abbeville, La., and Kay R. Breaux and her husband Jeff of Lake Charles, La.; five sisters, Shirley Miller and her husband, Nolan of Lacassiene, La., Ruth Fontenot and her husband, Jerry of Vinton, La., Brenda Vanicor, and her husband Danny, Jacinta Comeaux of Avery Island, La., and Kathy Gieger and her husband Richard of Brandon, Mississippi; five brothers, Donald Comeaux and his wife, Rose Ann of Ragley, La., Herbert Comeaux and his wife Cheryl of Welsh, La., Rodney Comeaux of Iowa, La. and Daniel Comeaux of California. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Milton "Mick" and Thelma Istre Comeaux, and one sister, Deanna Felice.
