Gloria Savannah Boudreaux

October 5, 1947 — January 9, 2012

New Iberia- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lester Boudreaux, the former Gloria S. Boutte, age 64, will be held on Friday January 13, 2012 at 11:00AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia with Father Gregory Chauvin as the officiant. Visitation will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church from 8:00AM until time of service with a recitation of the rosary at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville.

Mrs. Boudreaux was a Nurses Aide for many years at the Parish Hospital now known as Iberia Medical Center. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting blankets for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and she will be greatly missed. Mrs. Boudreaux passed away on Monday January 9, 2012 at 7:00AM at a local healthcare facility with her family close by her side.

She is survived by her children, Jason Olivier and wife Erica of New Iberia, and Rosalind Olivier of New Iberia; grandchildren, Linzie and Keyrstin Olivier; three brothers, James Marial Boutte and wife Gloria of Jeanerette, Lonnie Boutte and his children Alex and Courtney of Scottsdale, AZ., and Randy Boutte and wife Peggy of New Iberia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Boudreaux; parents Paul William Boutte, and Gertrude Olivier Boutte; and one brother, Raymond Boutte.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Boutte Jr., Kasey Boutte, Michael Boutte, Luke Boutte, Renaldo Boutte, and Troy Delcambre.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Reegun Boutte, Carl George, James Marial Boutte, Lonnie Boutte, Randy Boutte, Jason Olivier, and Alex Boutte.
