Jeanerette " Memorial services will be conducted for Guy Hartman LeJeune, Sr. 76 years of age, on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Beau Pre Memorial Park Chapel with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Inurnment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering of the family and friends will be on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Beau Pre Memorial Park Chapel from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Mr. LeJeune died peacefully at his home on Thursday evening June14, 2012. Mr. LeJeune attended Louisiana State University and was a member of the ROTC. He graduated from Southwestern Louisiana with a Business Administration Degree. Mr. LeJeune was a member of the American Sugar Cane League and received the high yield award on numerous occasions. He was a member of the National Rifle Association of America and an avid shooter. Mr. LeJeune was the chief executive officer and owner of LeJeunes Bakery, Inc. and Walter R. LeJeune Farms, Inc. The things that he valued most in his life were his family and friendships. Mr. LeJeune is survived by his wife of 56 years, Loretta LeMaire LeJeune; his children, Walter R. Beau LeJeune, III and his wife Emi of Clarksville, TN, Guy Hartman LeJeune, Jr., Matthew Harold LeJeune, Lisa LeJeune Freyou and her husband James all of Jeanerette and Rene Percy LeJeune of Denver, CO and his best friend and pet, Hombre. He is also survived by his sister, Jackie LeJeune Burke of Baltimore, MD and his grandchildren, Jacob LeJeune, Rachel LeJeune, Allison LeJeune all of Clarksville, TN, Mary Beth LeJeune, Benjamin LeJeune both of New Iberia and Kaleb Freyou and Jamie Freyou both of Jeanerette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter R. LeJeune, Sr. and Dorothy Hartman LeJeune and his brothers Walter LeJeune, Jr. and Harold LeJeune.
