Youngsville- Funeral Services for Sam Nightingale, 42, will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, January 27, 2012 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, LA, with Rev. Mark Carter Associate Pastor of Our Saviors Church of Lafayette,LA officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 beginning at 5:30PM until 10:00PM and will resume on Friday at 5:30PM until just prior to service time. Interment will be at a later date. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Misty Brewer Nightingale of Youngsville, LA; son, Austin Nightingale of Youngsville, LA; daughter, Lillian Nightingale of Youngsville, LA; mother, Darlene Floyd and her husband, Tom of Tulsa, OK ; father, Eric Nightingale and his wife Lisa of Dallas, TX; brothers, Jacob Floyd of Broussard, LA and Tom Floyd, Jr. of Tulsa, OK; nephews, Joey Floyd and Trenton Cole; niece, Kayla Jackson; brother-in-law, Greg Brewer and sister-in-law, Mandy Cole all of Tulsa, OK; paternal grandfather, Jim Nightingale of Galveston, TX; paternal grandmother, Karol McCoullogh of Claremore, OK and one aunt, Judy Swindle and her husband, Larry of Lafayette, LA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wanona Sheets. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Austin Nightingale and Jacob Floyd.
