Jeanerette " Funeral services were conducted for Stephen F. Landry, Sr., 86, on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM at McGowen Methodist Church with Rev. Sue Pugh officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin. Visitation was held at McGowen Methodist Church on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 10:00 AM until services. A native of St. Mary Parish, a former resident of Four Corners and a resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Landry passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 3:16 PM in a Jeanerette nursing home. He was a retired sugar cane farmer and loved to fish, hunt and gardening. He is survived by his sons, Stephen Landry, Jr. and his wife Linda of Franklin, Larry P. Landry and his fiance Starlene Boutte of Jeanerette, Mark T. Landry and his wife Mandy and Brian J. Landry all of New Iberia; his sister, Flordia L. Hidalgo of Franklin; his grandchildren, Brett Landry and his wife Gail of Websterville, Wendy Landry of Panama City, FL, Craig Landry and his wife Lauren of New Iberia, Kristi Gathe and her husband Charlie, Alicia Landry all of Maurice, Leslie Landry of Monterey, CA and Jessie Landry of New Iberia; his great grandchildren, Nick Horman, Megan Scelfo, Martin Scelfo all of Panama City, FL and Raina Landry of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Hebert Landry; his parents, Neville and Cecile Julien Landry; his sisters, Lucille Moore, Alice Hidalgo and Odette Moncla and his brothers, Julien and Charles Landry. Pallbearers were Stephen Landry, Jr., Larry P. Landry, Mark T. Landry, Brett Landry, Craig Landry, Jesse Landry and Brian J. Landry. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Staff at Maison Teche Nursing Home, Dr. Steven Boudreaux, Professional Home Health and Hospice of Acadiana.
