Muriel Ansley

Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Muriel Theresa Ansley, age 84, on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic church with Father Jody Simoneaux Officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.

A native of New Iberia and long time resident of Jeanerette, Muriel passed away on Thursday February 9, 2012 at 4:55 PM at her residence in Jeanerette. She was a member of the retired teachers association and taught in the Iberia Parish school system until her retirement.

She is survived by her brothers, Larry P. Ansley of Jeanerette, Henry P. Ansley, Sr. and wife Mary of Galveston, TX; Nieces, Kathleen A. Ansley of Lafayette, Erin A. Miguez and her husband Steven of Erath; Nephews, Sean D. Ansley and his wife Jamie of The Woodlands, TX., Darren J. Ansley and his wife Alana of The Woodlands, TX., and Henry P. Ansley, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Loreauville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry P. and Stella Langla Ansley; Sisters, Jacqueline A. Coleand Joyce C. Ansley.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
