Rickey J. Romero

Visitation will be on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Friday at 6:30 PM.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Romero passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 4:22 PM in a Lafayette hospital. He was employed in the Bakery at Super I Foods in New Iberia for 14 years. He loved music, sports, fishing and vacationing.

He is survived by his parents, Huey Romero, Sr. and Mabel Louviere Romero of New Iberia; his brother, Huey Romero, Jr. of New Iberia; his sisters, Sharon Latiolais and her husband Dana and Katherine Robichaux and her husband Morris all of New Iberia; his nieces, Brooke Robichaux Gros and her husband Kevin Gros, Jr. of Gonzales and Brittany Robichaux and her fiance Derrick Darbonne of New Iberia; his nephew, Blake Latiolais of New Iberia and his great niece, McKenzie Claire Darbonne of New Iberia.

Pallbearers will be Huey Romero, Jr., Morris Robichaux, Dana Latiolais, Blake Latiolais, Derrick Darbonne and Kevin Gors, Jr..
