Margaret Bares

December 24, 1923 — February 10, 2012

Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret J. Bares, 88, will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday February 14, 2012 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:00PM and will resume at 8:00AM on Wednesday February 15, 2012 until just prior to service time. Interment will follow services in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery.

A native and lifelong resident of the LeBlanc community, Margaret was a member of the Ladies Altar Society at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Erath. She was a loving aunt to all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed working in the yard and will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by two brothers, Louis Theo Bares and his wife Wilda of Youngsville, LA and Paul Bares and his wife Dean also of Youngsville, LA; her niece, Evette Bares LeBlanc and her husband Russell; her great-nieces Torie LeBlanc Rudisill and her husband, Terry and Candace LeBlanc Trahan and her husband, Jeremy; great-nephews, Nicholas LeBlanc and Trent LeBlanc all of Erath, LA as well as a host of numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Germain Bares and Edolie Frederick Bares; brothers, Henry, Pierre, Joseph, Edier, Edvard, John and Theodore Bares, Sr.; sisters, Irma, Edith and Thomassine Bares, Elodie Frederick and a special Great-great niece, Stevie Nichole LeBlanc.

Readings will be done by Betty Landry and Torie Rudisill; Gift bearers will be Candace Trahan and Moureen Ransonet.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas LeBlanc, Trent LeBlanc, Russell LeBlanc, Terry Rudisill, Tommy Ransonet, Sr. and Kim Ransonet.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Trahan, Jace Rudisill, Haylie Rudisill, Chance Trahan, Tyler Trahan and Brianna LeBlanc.

The family would like to thank the staff at Dr. Ronald Lahaskys office for their care and support shown to Margaret and also a special thank you to the staff at Concepts of Care Home Health, especially Christy Guidry,for all their help and support.It was greatly appreciated by all.
