Esther Bourgeois Hebert

Visitation will beon Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 9:00 AM until services with a rosary prayed in the funeral home at 1:00 PM.

A native of Avery Island, a former resident of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hebert died on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 5:45 AM in a New Iberia nursing facility. She loved crocheting, reading and praying her rosary.

She is survived by her children, Shirleen Aucoin and her husband Carroll of Jeanerette and Marlene Helenski and her husband Fred of Cat Spring, TX; her grandchildren, Brian Guillotte, Moise L. Guillotte, Glenn Guillotte all of Jeanerette, Trudy Robicheaux, Celeste Peltier, Candace Comeaux all of New Iberia, Eric Helenski of Baytown, TX and Jeremy Helenski of Cat Spring, TX. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hebert; her parents, Ozena and Olinde Hebert Bourgeois; her daughter, Jacqueline Guillotte; her brothers, R. D. Bourgeois and Roland Bourgeois and her sister, Anna Belle Sellers.

Pallbearers were Vince Comeaux, Nicholas Comeaux, Brian Guillotte, Glenn Guillotte, Moise Guillotte and Eric Helenski.

Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
