Sidney Horton Jr.

A native of St. Martin Parish and resident of Loreauville, Mr. Horton died Monday February 20, 2012 at 9:45AM at Iberia Medical Center.

Mr. Horton was a member of the LCPA-West, co-owner of Lous Bait Shop and Grocery Store and owner of La. Cajun Gold Seafood Inc.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Louise Arnaud Horton of Loreauville; Children, Darrell Horton and wife Darlene of St. Martinville, Jeffery Horton and wife Wanda, Michael Horton and wife Linda and Brian Horton and wife Priscilla all of Coteau Holmes, Donna Migues and husband Wade of Erath and Pauline Horton and Tina Savoy and husband Travis both of Loreauville; one sister, Lilly Mae Verrett of Coteau Holmes; grandchildren, Travis Migues, Brad Horton, Marlon Daigle, Shannon Horton, Sandy Horton, Koby Horton, Ravis Savoy, Jesse Goforth, Natasha Horton, Joni Tignor, Janna Horton, Kandis Savoy, Trinity Savoy and Jade Chatagnier; great grandchildren, Kassidy Smothers, Keara and Kaylon Horton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Horton Sr. and Anita Toffier Horton; brothers, Richard Horton, Rufus Horton Sr., Harold Horton, Milton Horton and Arthur Horton and two sisters, Clara Seneca and Katie Horton.

Pallbearers will be Travis Migues, Brad, Shannon, Sandy and Gary Horton Jr. and Marlon Daigle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell, Jeff, Brian and Michael Horton.
