Goldie Judice Viator

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Whitney J. Viator, the former Goldie Marie Judice, 90, on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 3:00 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 9:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 PM.

A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Viator passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 9:22 PM in a New Iberia hospital. She was a self employed seamtress. She was a parishioner at St. Peters Catholic Church where she was a Euchristric Minister and taught Catechism. She was a member of the Lay Carmalites and enjoyed making Scapulas for area churches and First Communion.

She is survived by her son Glenn Viator and his wife Gretchen of New Iberia; her daughters, Joy Rita Voorhies of New Iberia and Mary Kathryn McGee and her husband James of Porter, TX; her brothers, Robert Judice and his wife Mattie of Centerville; her half-brothers, Leroy Judice and Charles Judice both of Franklin; her sisters, Annie Lee Labiche Bourgeois of Lydia, Nelda Martin of Morgan City; her step-mother, Louise Charpentier of Franklin; her grandchildren, Robert B. Temple and his wife Katie of Katy, TX, Rebecca T. Robin and her husband Noran Joe of New Iberia, Annette Mosier of Coteau, Sonny D. McGee, Jr. and his wife Christie of Opelousas, Molly Young and her husband Jim of Shephard, TX, Chad Viator of Hollywood, CA, Ryan M. Viator and his wife Lara of Rhinebeck, NY, Jake Viator of Hollywood, CA, Sonia Marote of Splendora, TX and Cindy McGee of The Woodlands, TX. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Whitney J. Viator; her parents, Elie and Lucy Vaughn Judice; her daughter, Mollie Ann Viator, her brother, Harold Judice; her half-brother, Donald Judice and her sister, Margaret Paras.

Pallbearers will be Robert B. Temple, Sonny D. McGee Jr., Chad C. Viator, Ryan M. Viator, Jake M. Viator and Glenn Viator.

Honorary pallbearers will be James D. McGee Sr., John Nicholas McGee, Chance McGee, Robert B. Temple II, Jonathon Temple, Logan Robin, Sonny D. McGee III, Brock McGee, Noran Joe Robin, Caleb O'Brienand Harvey W. Koenig II.
