Abbeville - Memorial services for Beverly C. Mayard, 79, will be held Saturday March 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at David Funeral Home of Abbeville. Mrs. Mayard a native of Abbeville passed away at her residence Monday, February 27, 2012. A wonderful wife mother and grandmother, Beverly loved to cook and entertain family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Mayard is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph (J.O.) Mayard of Abbeville; two daughters Lisa and her husband Glynn Laviolette, and Maria and her husband Farley Painter Jr.; one son Phillip (Phil) and his wife Kelly Mayard; three grandchildren Darrell Mayard, Cy Laviolette, and Andre Painter; three step grandchildren Amber, David Jr., and Autumn Derouen. She was preceded in death by her mother Louise V. Corrado and her brother Carl Corrado. The family would like to extend their special appreciation to all her friends who remembered Beverly in many special ways, to Father David Hebert and Heart of Hospice.
