Jimmie M. Watters

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 9:00 AM until services.

A native of Menard, TX and a resident of Broussard, Mr. Watters passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 1:47 PM in a Clinton, LA hospital. He retired from Otis Engineering after 22 years of employment and he then owned and operated Wireline, Snubbing and Consultants. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U. S. Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Thibodeaux Watters of Broussard; his daughter, Angela Watters of Gretna, LA; his son, Eric Watters of Lafayette; his step-sons, Rogers Paul Guidry, Jr. and his wife Christine and Chris Guidry all of New Iberia; his sister, Lalah Jeanine Dennis and her husband Richard of Orlando, FL; his brother, Richard Dick Watters of Odessa, TX; his step-grandchildren, Michelle Guidry, Michael Guidry, Christopher Guidry and Hollie Denise Guidry all of New Iberia and the mother of his children, Earline Boudreaux Watters of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Watters and Lillian Johnson Watters and his brothers, Luther Watters, Doss Watters and Robert L. Larry Watters.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Dennis, Christopher Guidry and Michael Guidry.
