Erath " Funeral Service for John F. Daniels, 54, will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at David Funeral Chapel of Erath with Rev. Harv Hobson officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 1:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 9:00AM until the time of the services.

A native of Arlington, VA and a resident of Erath Mr. Daniels died on Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Carrizo Springs, TX. He was known for his enjoyment of NASCAR and his love for life.

He is survived by his companion of 18 years, Mandy Richard of Erath; two daughters, MaKayla Richard and Daphne Dinette both of Erath; a son, Hanns Rivet of Erath; two grandchildren, Kyleigh Choate and Kaleb Segura; a sister, Pamela Hobson and her husband Harv of Palm Bay, FL; a nephew, Benjamin Hobson; and a niece, Carolyn Hobson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Almon Edward and Jean Amelia Norris Daniels.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Hanns Rivet, Harv Hobson, Benjamin Hobson, Stacey Myers, Ritchie Richard, Tommy Terrebonne, and Paul Comeaux.
