New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Brittany Nicole Romero, age 22, on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at 3:00 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in Holy family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Wednesday March 7, 2012 from 9:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Brittany passed away on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 1:15 PM at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Brittany loved to go shopping and loved to plant flowers, but most of all she loved the time spent with her Godchild, family and friends.

She is survived by her parents: Ricardo and Pamela Wilson Romero of New Iberia, sister: Danielle Romero and her fiance Tony Boutte of New Iberia, maternal grandfather: Jimmy Wilson and his wife Lorraine of Loreauville, paternal grandmother: Velma Romero of New Iberia, special friend: Bobby Warner of New Iberia, godchild: Sadie David of Delcambre, aunts: Jennifer Romero and fiance Huey Trahan,Jenny Marks and her husband Ronald, uncles: Timothy Romero and his wife Jackie, Michael Romero and his wife Tammy all of New Iberia, and a number of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her: maternal grandmother, Eva Lagrange Wilson, Paternal grandfather: Curley Romero.

Pallbearers will be: Timothy Romero, Michael Romero, Tony Boutte, Ricky Steadhan, Troy Daigle, Jeff David.
