Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Kenneth K. Landry, Sr., the former Carmelite Connie Fitch, 65, on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 PM. A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Landry died on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 5:04 AM in a New Iberia hospital. She was the owner of Landrys Truck Stop and Silver Fox Casino for 36 years. She enjoyed traveling, camping with friends, family and riding motorcycles. She was a supporter of St. Judes Research Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth K. Landry, Sr. of Jeanerette; her mother, Lena Armentor Fitch of Jeanerette; her son, Keith Landry and his wife Angela of Franklin; her daughter, Lori Landry of Jeanerette; her brother, Walter Fitch, Jr. of Baton Rouge; her sister, Mary Lois Darden and her husband Don of Charenton; her granddaughters, Brittany Landry of Franklin and Victoria Eldridge of Jeanerette; her grandsons, Corey Landry of Franklin and Kaeden Olivier of Jeanerette and her beloved pet, Harley Dee. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Fitch, Sr.; her infant daughter, Kathleen Landry and her brother, Huey Paul Fitch, Sr. Pallbearers will be Keith Landry, Corey Landry, David Landry, Huey Paul Fitch, Jr., Walter Fitch, Jr. and Don Darden.
