Mary Marshall

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:00 AM until services.

A native of Vivian, LA, resident of Broussard and a former longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Marshall died on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 7:24 AM at her residence. She worked many years supporting people with developmental disabilities at the Arc of Acadiana, where she retired. She was animal lover and loved the outdoors, especially working with plants and flowers. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy M. Leleux and her husband Mike of Youngsville and Becky M. Schwing and her husband Rev. Steven, Sr. of Lafayette; her son, Michael Marshall and his wife Kara of Katy, TX; her grandchildren, Kayla LaBarge and her husband Brandon, Matthew D. Leleux all of Natchitoches, Demi Leleux of Youngsville, Steven Schwing, Jr., Sarah Schwing, Daniel Schwing, Joshua Schwing all of Lafayette, Kyle Marshall of Austin, TX and Alex Marshall of Katy, TX.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Guy Crumpler and her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Edna Brown Guy.
