Raymond Joseph Delcambre, Sr.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia Raymond died Saturday July 7, 2012 at 9:45AM at his residence in New Iberia.

He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Raymond was a self employed truck driver all of his life.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Derouen Delcambre of New Iberia, his mother, Carole Kendrick Delcambre of Deridder, children, Brandie McDaniel and fiance Harry Hogan, Raymond Buddy Delcambre Jr. and fiance Heather Romero and Amber Delcambre all of New Iberia, two brothers, Ray J. Delcambre Jr. and wife Mitzie and David Delcambre and wife Eva both of New Iberia, sisters, Michelle LaCour and husband Ron of New Iberia, Joy Delcambre of Baton Rouge, Terry Guillot and husband Larry of New Iberia, Jan Clarke and husband Phillip of Alabama and Sherry Viator and husband Derwin of St. Martinville and his grandchildren, Brianna Williams and Brinkley and Raiden Delcambre all of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Joseph Delcambre Sr. and a sister, Wendy D. Lee.

Pallbearers will be Carl Broussard, David Delcambre, Steven Morgan, Ron LaCour, Jerry Brown and Jerry Sewell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Gonsoulin, Kenny Adams and David Patout.
