Euzilian "Tip" Frederick

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Euzilian A. Tip Frederick, age 95, on Monday June 18, 2012 at 2:30 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Monday June 18, 2012 from 9:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday at. 11:00 AM.

A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Frederick died on Thursday June 14, 2012 at 8:10 AM in Vermilion Parish health care facility. He worked for Morton Salt Co. for 40 years, and retired as Electrician Foreman March 31, 1977. After his retirement he worked for National Car Rental and Avis Car Rental in Lafayette for 10 years. Mr. Frederick served in WW II in the Navy and was discharged in January 1946. He moved to New Iberia in 1969, and was a life member of V.F.W. Post 1982 and served as post Commander for one year and was Quartermaster V.F.W. District 4, for 15 years. He was a life member of the American Legion Post in Lydia. Mr. Frederick was also an Usher at St. Peters Catholic Church.

He is survived by a number of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elis and Rose Benoit Frederick, one sister Estelle Frederick.
