Erath "A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Paul Floris, 72, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Primeaux Cemetery. A native Erath and a resident of New Iberia Paul died at 8:00AM on Friday, November 9, 2012 at New Iberia Manor South. He is survived by five brothers, Anthony Floris of New Iberia, Darrell Floris of New Iberia, Alwin Floris of Erath, Abdin BeBe Floris of Erath, and Horace Dean Floris of Erath; and three sisters, Mary Nell Babin of Erath, Maxine DeRouen of New Iberia, and Vanet Floris of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his parent, Antoine and Mildred Mergist Floris; a brother, Phillip Cottan Floris; three nephews, Woody Dean Floris, Joshua Michael DeRouen, and Terry Adam Floris; a brother in law, Edias DeRouen, Jr.; and two great nephews, Justin Smith and Matthew Dean Gary. Serving as pallbearers will be Alwin Floris, Horace Dean Floris, Abdin BeBe Floris, Phil Floris, Patrick Floris, and Clay Floris. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Floris, Darrell Floris, and Raymond Babin.
