Norma Jean Bailey Davis Burk

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Donald Keith Burk, the former Norma Jean Bailey Davis, 83, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Bill Phillips officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 8:00 AM until services.

A native of Stafford, KS and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Burk died on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 7:55 AM at her residence.

She is survived by her sons, Billy W. Davis and his wife Jan and Charles E. Davis and his wife Belinda all of New Iberia; her daughters, Donna Guillory and her husband John and Catherine Davis Defelice and her husband Jimmy all of New Iberia; her brother, Beverly Bailey of Sierra Vista, AZ; her sister, Lois McMullen of Liberal, KS; her grandchildren, Tracey D. Guilbeaux, Shelley Defelice, James Defelice, II, Dustin Ray Charles Davis, Scott Michael Davis, Jennifer Kaye Davis Swett, Kristi Lynn Derouen and Lauren Ashley Guillory; her great grandchildren, Kyle James Guilbeaux, Brayton Joseph Eskine, Carroll Ray Guilbeaux, Alexis Paige Defelice, Kelby Rae Defelice, Blexx Athan Davis, Gavriella Marie Davis, Caleb Scott Davis, Lily Michelle Davis and Michael Burk Davis and her great great grandchild, Charlie Jane Guilbeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Keith Burk; her first husband, Charles Edward Davis, Sr.; her parents, George W. and Alice G. Miller Bailey; her infant son, Jimmy Davis; her brothers, Robert Bailey, Arthur Bailey, Floyd Bailey, George Bailey and Jerry Bailey. and her sister, Leatha Barker.

Pallbearers will be James Defelice, II, Scott Davis, Dustin Ray Davis, Carroll Wayne Guilbeaux, Kyle Guilbeaux, Brian Robert Swett, Carroll Ray Guilbeaux, Brayton J. Eskine and Caleb Scott Davis.

The family would like to express their very special thanks to her care giver and niece Nancy Jo Clark.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Heart of Hospice at 201 W. Vermilion Suite 100 in Lafayette, LA 70501 or St. Pauls Espiscopal Church at 101 E. Vermilion St. in Abbeville, LA 70510.
