Mary Ann Derouen

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be rectied in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Derouen died on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 5:07 PM in a Lafayette hospital. She worked for Martin Mills. She loved caring for her cats, loved crocheting and working crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky J. Derouen; her son, Marshall Derouen and his wife Crystal; her sister, Gladys Broussard all of New Iberia; her brother, Jerry Derouen of Baldwin; her grandchildren, Haley Derouen, Jaysa Derouen, Jayden Derouen, and Bryce Trahan all of New Iberia; her godchild, Ken Romero of New Iberia; her niece, Tina Romero Mire of New Iberia and her nephew, Ricky Romero of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis Pickle and Rena Guidry Derouen; her sister, Barbara Romero and her nephew, Carl Romero.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Romero, Ken Romero, Marshall Derouen, Ricky Derouen, Scotty Mire, Johnny Broussard, Jr., Chris Broussard and Bryce Trahan.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jayden Derouen.
