Geraldine Daigle Moresi

Visitation was on Saturday, December 22, 2012, from 8:00 AM until services. A rosary was prayed in the funeral home at 9:00 AM.

A native of Napoleonville, LA and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Moresi died on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 8:54 AM at her residence. She loved reading, painting and especially loved her family and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, George P. Moresi, Sr. of Jeanerette; her sons, George P. Moresi, Jr. and his wife Karen of New Orleans, David Moresi of Erath, Mark Moresi and John Moresi and his wife Cindy all of Jeanerette; her daughters, Jenny Landry, Faye Buteau and her husband Ricky, Missy Guillory all of Jeanerette, Patricia Grubbs and her husband Will and Becky Irvin and her husband Sammy all of New Iberia; her sister, Doris Kapp of Lydia; 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Beatrice Martin Daigle; her sister, Louise Frisco and her brothers, Charles, Ira and Leroy Daigle.

Pallbearers were John Moresi, II, Blake Labiche, Jacob A. Landry, Matthew Landry, David Moresi, II, Joshua Moresi and George P. Moresi, III.

Honorary pallbearer was Ryan M. Landry.
