Mamie Colletti Landry

A memorial service for Mrs. Robert W. Landry, the former Mamie Colletti, age 86 will be held onSaturdayJanuary 5, 2013at David Funeral Home ofJeanerette at12 noon. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time. Inurnment will take place at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Landry passed away on Friday December 21, 2012 at 11:30am at her daughters residence in Jeanerette. Mrs. Landry was involved in numerous organizations in her lifetime including the VFW Post 8150 Ladies Auxiliary, the Air Force Wives Club, the Home and Garden Club, the Jeanerette Bicentennial Park and Museum Planning Committee, and the Ole Country Fair Planning Committee. She also enjoyed going to the casino and loved being surrounded by the people she loved the most, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Landry is survived by her daughters, Theresa Terry Dixon of Petal, Ms., Peggy Parker and husband David of Jeanerette, Tina M. Fasolak and husband Walter of Pinehurst, Nc., Susan L. Cucullu and husband Allen of Hattiesburg, Ms., and Paula L. Caston and husband Greg of Fort Worth, Tx.; one sister, Sarah Migues of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Stacy Ricca and husband Ryan of Prairieville, Shelly Hooper and husband David of St. Amant, Brett Amedee and wife Carla of Murrieta, Ca., Ross Landry and wife Katheryne of Jeanerette, Morgan Brower and husband Jaymie of Anchorage, Ak., Laura and Stewart Fasolak of Pinehurst, Nc., Eve, Bridget, and Gray Caston all of Fort Worth, Tx.; great grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, and Walker of Murrieta, Ca., Stevie, Justin, Caleb, and Whitney of Prairieville, Tayler of St. Amant, Gavin, Claire, Deuce, Avianna and Kadynse all of Jeanerette; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Bob Landry; parents Ross and Sarah Cullotta Colletti, son Ross R. Bobby Landry; and siblings, Camella Hebert, Nicholas Colletti, Anthony Colletti, Ross Colletti, and Joseph Colletti.
