Maurice " Funeral Services for Mr. Carlo A. Martello, Jr., 66, will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Chris Mouton officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady Perpetual Help Cemetery in Leroy. A Native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Maurice Mr. Martello died at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at a Lafayette hospital. He was formerly employed with Superior Oil. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jo Ann Guidry Martello of Maurice; a daughter, Tina Duval and her husband Jason of Maurice; three grandchildren, Tyler Duval, April Duval, and Alyssa Duval; and two brothers, C.E. Martello of Denham Springs and Michael Martello of Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlo A. Martello, Sr. and Ida Mae Swanson Martello; and a sister, Leona M. Leleaux. Serving as pallbearers will be members of his friends and family. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
