Mary Bourque Gonzales

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 11:00 AM until services and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.

A native of Youngsville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Gonzales died on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at her residence. She was a hairdresser and worked at Howard Brothers for many years. She was the former owner of La View Magazin Flea Market in New Iberia. She loved playing Bouree, SkioBo and Yahtzee and she like to cook. After the death of her husband, Gene, she reunited with her first husband, John Badeaux, whom she spent many years enjoying life. Throughout those years, together, they took care of their granddaughter Kimberly. She was a religious person and was able to travel to Medjugorie and participated in many prayer groups at her home.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela T. Broussard and her fianc Kevin L. Migues, Sr. of New Iberia; her sons, Glenn P. Touchet, Timothy J. Touchet, Sr. and Troy A. Touchet all of New Iberia; her brothers, Gerald Bourque of New Iberia, Jerry Bourque of Vinton and Gordy Bourque and his wife Bonnie of New Iberia; her sisters, Joy Rita Sonnier and her husband Ray of New Iberia and Kerry Bourque of Abbeville, her grandchildren, Magan R. Broussard and her fianc Dan LeBlanc, Jr., Katlin K. Broussard all of New Iberia, Lacie S. Broussard and her fiance John Hayes of St. Martinville, Shani L. Touchet of New Iberia, Tyler P. Touchet of Baton Rouge, Timothy J. Touchet, Jr., Kimberly N. Touchet and Hannah R. Touchet, all of New Iberia; her great grandchildren, Emersyn C. Jones of New Iberia, Reece A. Hayes of St. Martinville and Jessie B. Gibson of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Joseph Gonzales; her parents, Reaul and Louise Romero Bourque; her grandson, Seth Joseph Touchet; her brother, Bryant Ray Bourque and her first husband, John Badeaux.

Pallbearers will be Timothy J. Touchet, Sr., Kevin L. Migues, Sr., Jessie P. Viator, Glenn P. Touchet, J. J. Bourque, Timothy J. Touchet, Jr..

Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Dartez, Dan LeBlanc, Jr. and John Hayes.
