Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Rillius P. Fitch Jr. the former Kathleen LaGarde, Age 84, at 10:00AM Tuesday June 26, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday June 25, 2012 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 8:00AM until service time. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Fitch died Sunday June 24, 2012 at 1:54AM at Maison Teche Nursing Center. Mrs. Fitch was owner/operator of the Frances Hotel and Fitchs Drive Inn for many years. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her children, Rillius P. Fitch III of Franklin, Frances F. Chi Chi Hebert and husband Rudy of Jeanerette, Kathleen F. Landry and husband Gerry of New Iberia and Mona F. Hebert and husband Norman of Lydia, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rillius P. Fitch Jr., parents, Edmond Andrew and Frances DAnna LaGarde, one brother, Edmond Danna LaGarde and a son in law, Barry J. Boudreaux. Pallbearers will be Rudy Hebert, Gerry Landry, Norman Hebert, Craig Hebert, David Boudreaux and Norman Hebert II. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnathan, Scott and Matthew Hebert, Edmond D.
