Charles Menard, Jr.

New Iberia " Memorial services will be conducted for Charles Paul Chuck Menard, Jr., age 53, on Wednesday June 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Wade Broussard officiating. Inurnment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday June 27, 2012 from 10:00 AM until services, with a rosary being prayed at 11:30 AM.

A Native and residence of New Iberia Mr. Menard, Jr. died on Sunday June 24, 2012 at 5:15 PM at his residence in New Iberia.

Chuck received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from LSU. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society. He received a Masters of Finance from North Texas State University. His other accomplishments include being a member of Kappa Delta Pi (Delta Iota Chapter) International Honor Society in Education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mr. Menard was also an Eagle Scout and was a member of the Order of Arrow. Chuck also enjoyed reading and history, especially focusing on World War I.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Consuelo Menard of New Iberia; his son, Andre P. Menard of New Iberia; parents, Charles Paul and Jo Anne Renoudet Menard, Sr. of New Iberia; and one brother, Michael D. Menard and wife Lorraine C. of Hampton, VA.

In Lieu of flowers, contribution may be made in memory of Charles P. Menard Jr. to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA. 22311.
