William Preston Dewveall

Coteau " A Memorial Service will be conducted for Mr. William Bill Preston Dewveall, Age 64, at 10:00AM Thursday July 26, 2012 at David Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Kingsville, Texas and longtime resident of Coteau, Mr. Dewveall died Monday July 23, 2012 at 7:01PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Mr. Dewveall was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War. He attended Weatherford High School and New Iberia Senior High School. He drove trucks for 15 years hauling oilfield equipment. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was devoted to his wife, daughter, grandchildren, brothers and friends. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Mae Romero Dewveall of Coteau, his daughter, Meredith Lorraine Dewveall Tullier and fianc William LeBlanc of New Iberia, grandchildren, Catelyn and Logan Tullier and two brothers, Kenneth and Marshall Dewveall both of Toledo Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston Slats Dewveall and Mildred Boultinghouse Dewveall. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La. (337)369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
